Pacifica Montessori School, established in 1982, provides a happy, peaceful learning environment for preschool and kindergarten students living in Culver City and West Los Angeles, including Playa Vista (a.k.a. Silicon Beach). After receiving the incomparable Montessori foundation of learning for life, our students go on to excel at private, public, and charter schools across West Los Angeles.

Years in Operation

Our school is co-directed by Stephen Call, a founder, and his wife Jennifer Call, who previously taught in the primary classroom for 25 years. Every member of the Pacifica Montessori staff  is a dedicated Montessorian and a passionate advocate for children. Engaged and committed, our staff is the cornerstone of our community, with an average tenure of more than eleven years. Each class is led by an AMI or AMS Montessori-trained teacher supported by a trained assistant.

Since our founding nearly 40 years ago, we are proud to have maintained ethnically and socioeconomically diverse classrooms, supported by a strong parent community. Our reasonable tuition rates also reflect our core belief that an excellent Montessori education  should be accessible. In keeping with that value, fundraising from parents is not our expectation.
